Press the green power button to turn on the device, and all fields will display for approximately 2 seconds. The screen displays CO in ppm, and it quickly and automatically returns to zero as the instrument reading stabilizes. The green power indicator light is on. Press the MODE key to browse various functions: record the maximum reading value, time elapsed, alarm settings, sound alarm, CO display.
Record the maximum read value: Display the maximum read value of CO after the self power is turned on.
Time elapsed: displays the time since startup in hours and minutes, with a maximum value of 99:59
Alarm setting: Display the sound and light alarm values set by the individual. The factory setting is 30ppm CO
Sound alarm: In this mode, the sound alarm can be turned on or off by pressing the SEL key.
Manual zeroing: The instrument automatically resets to zero when turned on. If it cannot be reset to zero, manual reset is required.
Press and hold the SEL key on the CO display screen for 2 seconds until a short "beep" sound is heard, and the screen will display some changing symbols. After 5 seconds, the instrument panel will return to zero and another "beep" sound will be heard.

Change alarm settings: The 770 factory setting is 30ppm alarm. After the instrument is turned off, press the ON/OFF and SEL keys simultaneously until "SET1" appears. Pressing the ON/OFF key will display the set value, which can be increased by pressing the MODEL key and decreased by pressing the SEL key. Pressing once can change the reading value by 1ppm. After setting, pressing the ON/OFF button will display "END" on the screen. Press the ON/OFF button again to return to the CO screen.

Other features of TPI-770 carbon monoxide single gas monitor: When the sound alarm is turned off, the "double speaker" icon appears in the bottom left corner of the screen. When the alarm setting is exceeded, the "warning" sign is displayed in the middle of the lower part of the screen, and the red warning indicator light is on. When the battery voltage approaches 2V, the "BAT" symbol appears to warn that the battery is low. If the voltage further decreases, the instrument will automatically shut down.
